Claremont Trio
Claremont Trio

We are delighted to welcome the Claremont Trio for the first concert of our 2023 Blue Hill Concert Association season. Strad Magazine called the trio, composed of pianist, Andrea Lam, and twin sisters Emily and Julia Bruskin on violin and cello, “one of America’s finest young chamber groups.”  The Claremont Trio, formed in 1999 at the Juilliard School, is the only piano trio ever to win the Young Concert Artists International Auditions. They have played at Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, the Library of Congress, and with numerous orchestras throughout the United States.

You may listen to the Claremont trio in the two videos linked below: the first is a special performance of the Scherzo from Mendelssohn’s Piano Trio No. 1 in D minor at the Gardner Museum in Boston, and the second, an excerpt of a recent performance of Folk Songs by Gabriela Lena Frank. We will be hosting the Claremont Trio at the Blue Hill Congregational Church at 3:00 pm on January 22, 2023!
